Thanks Pyariji for such beautiful description.

Shri Radhakrishnabhyam Namah. shri Krishna is worshipped
alongwith Radha everywhere. shri Bhagwat is full of glories of
Krishna but does not throw much light on the Radha-Tatwa.

To understand Radha Tatwa, we haved to turn our face a little
towards Shaktism and Tantra. If we study Devibhagvatam and other
related shakti scriptures, perhaps we would be in a better
understanding of Radha-Tatwa. Radha is direct manifestation of Para-
Shakti as Devi scriptures tell us that Adya-Shakti has five direct
forms of manifestation viz

Durga - Karma Shakti
Radha - Prana Shakti
Laxmi - Manas Shakti
Saraswati - Buddhi Shakti
Savitri - Gyan Shakti

"Ganesh janani durga radha,laxmi, saraswati;
Savitri cha srishti vidhao, prakriti panchdha smrita"

The word Radha is derived from dhatu "Radhh" which means - the one
who is responsible for cause and effect. Thus Radha-Tatwa is Mool-
Prakriti, Adya Shakti.

"Golokvasini Seymanna Krishnagya dhuna
Ayonisambhava devi Mool-Prakritirishvari"

In Brahmand Puran Shri Krishna clearly declares:

Yah Krishnah..saapi radha.... etc

This eternal bliss is of two types only i.e. Radha and
Krishna...Radha is Krishna and Krishna is Radha there is no
difference between them.

Radha -Madhava are two forms of the same Jyoti (divine light).

In brahmavaivarta Puran also Krishna says.

Twam mey pranadhika rraadhey..twam pra preyasi vara....etc

Hey Radhe you are the most loveable to me...you are my eternal
beloved.... you are just like me as there is no difference between
you and me.

Like milk has whiteness, like fire has heat and like earth has
smell...similarly i am in you

When I manifest as a body...you also manifest as body...you are my
half body !!

Here Krishna is clearly mentioning Ardhanarishwara form...where
lord shiva is depicted as half male and half female...both together
make Brahma (And Rukmini is no where applaused like this)

Since Radha is Adya-shakti of krishna...she is a part of
Ardhanarishwara...she is rightly worshipped alongwith krishna

hari aum

Namaste all.
On the coming celebration of Guru Purnima, it is nice to
shed some light upon 'Sri Radha Tattva' and recount the glories of
Divine Couple.
In Caitanya Caritamrtam, Adilila, 4.124 -
Lord Krishna Himself says this about 'sarva gopAlakezvarI'- the
'Supreme Goddess of Gopis' of Divine Goloka Vrindavan:

'rAdhikAra prema guru' Ami ziSya nAta
sadA AmA nAnA nRtya nAcAya udbhuta

Srimati RADHARANI is My GURU, My TEACHER of
Divine Love and I AM HER DANCING PUPIL.
Her selfless DIVINE LOVE, Prema, makes Me DANCE
various wonderful novel Dances."

In Padma Prana Sri Krishna has admitted to His dear friend Arjuna
to whom He taught the secret philosophical truths of Gita:

sahAyA "guravaH"ziSyA bhujiSyA bAndhavAH striyaH,
satyaM vadAmi te pArtha! gopyah kiM me bhavanti na?
manmahAtmyaM matsaparyo macchddhAM manmanogatam,
jAnanti gopikAH pArtha! nAnye jAnanti tattvataH.

'O My dear friend, Arjuna!
The Gopis are My helping Associates of blissful pastimes of Vrindavan,
They are My GURUS (teachers), They are My sishyas (students), They are
My Enjoyers, They are My dearest Realtives and My intimate Consorts.

I am telling you this confidential TRUTH, always remember and keep it
in your mind that GOPIS ARE MY ALL IN ALL, MY EVERYTHING, there is no
other relation that I can think of that Gopis are not to Me!

O Dear Arjuna! Gopis alone know My true Opulence,
They alone know how to serve Me with pure selfless Divine Love,
and They alone are aware of My real Interest in all devotees.
The Blessed Gopis alone ever know My intimate desires and
the deep seated Divine ecstasies of My loving heart.

There is no one else in the entire Spiritual world or in My whole
creation, Who can be equal to My eternal Sweethearts, Vraja Gopikas!'

Here are more Scriptural declarations:

(Caitanya Caritamritam Adilia, ch 4, 82-99 -

"The transcendental Goddess Radharani is

She is the Origin of all Lakshmi devis,

Sri Krishna declares to Narada muni,

'rA' sabdoccAraNAd bhakto

(N.P.R.)

For 'ra' represents receiving unswerving devotion
and service to Krishna's Lotus Feet and
'dha' represents dwelling together
with Krishna for eternity.

Krishnaji also says, "Greater is My delight in hearing the Name of
'Radha', and dearer to Me than those who offer the sixteen kinds of
worship, O Radha, is he who utters 'rAdhA'"(B.V.P)

"Worship that Radha, the bestower of Prema.
Quickly you shall go to Goloka,
through Her favor and service."

Bhaktas by serving Lord Krishna, Who is unattainable by impersonal
meditation, in a long time, after many, many births go to Goloka.

But by serving Radhaji, Who is full of Compassion and Grace, devotees
go there in a short time.

She is the Mother of Lord Mahavishnu. (B.V.P)

One last verse, from the Sri Jiva gosvAmi's message sent to the
devotee Sri Gadhadara Bhatta,

without taking the shelter of the sacred land of Vrindavan
where Her blessed footprints can be traced,
without delightfully learning the depths of
Her Divine ecstasies from Her Rasik Saints,
how one is supposed to understand or realize
Lord Krishna, the Ocean of Nectar of Divine Love ?

Jaya Sri Radhey!

Namaste all.
Please read these earlier messages to enjoy more of Sri Radha-Tattva.

'Radha'
In Indian Song & Dance

Her eyes are pink-tinged as if they have eaten a 'tamboola' and
her gem-encrusted 'tika' glows like a many-splendoured flame. She
is the fountainhead of happiness, at which even the Lord finds his
joy. Such is Radha - arguably the most famous woman in Indian
mythology, the most sung about, the most portrayed.

Who is she? How do the authors of mythological texts portray her?
As a goddess? As a woman with earthly qualities? Or as an admirable
mixture of the two? Some of the earliest references to her are found
in the Brahmavaivarta Purana. The most imaginative portrayal is
perhaps in the Vishnu Purana, which refers to the Lord's Leela and
gives her a form which is at once divine and human.

A The following verse from the Vishnu Purana refers to her as a
beautiful woman:

Namaste. Here is a wonderful, delicious 'Pada' from 'Sri Radha
Madhuri'of "Prema-Rasa-Madira" i.e. 'Wine of Divine Love',
composed by Jagadguru Sri Kripaluji Maharaj.

Singing and listening to this kirtana makes devotees of Radha Rani
extremely happy.

'hamArI swAminI rAdhe rAnI!'

My All in all is my precious Radha Rani.
She alone is our eternal Mistress and
She is our ever worshippable goddess,
the Divine Consort.

'zrIvRSabhAnu kizorI, bhorI, sarala prema-sukha-khAnI',

Srimati Radhika, the darling Daughter of King Vrishbhanu,
is always youthful.
Her natural, simple, sweet, innocent Personality
is the mine of Divine Love and
the treasure-house of Divine Bliss.

'zrIbarasAno nitya dhAma aru, vRndAvana rajadhAnI',

The blessed village of Barsana is Her eternal abode and
the enchanting Divine Vrindavana is privileged to become
the reknown capital for amorous pastimes of Divine Couple.

'sakhina jUtha sanga, nita prati navarasa, barasAvati manamAnI',

Along with Her intimate eternal associates and their groups of
unlimited playmate Sakhis, Sri Radhaji, continuously rains down
the torrential currents of Bliss of Prema Rasa,
according to Her own loving moods and ecstasies.

'tAla, tamAla, rasAla bola nita, "rAdhe, rAdhe" vANI',

In that land of Love, only ONE sound is ever echoing,
the mantra of "Radhey! Radhey! Radhey!",
as the sacred palm trees, dark tamala trees and
delicious mango trees, absorbed in their meditational trance,
chanting loudly the Divine Name of their Beloved, Radha Rani.

'siMhAsana ArUdha calata jaba, karata brahma agavAnI',

When Sri Radhika visits the enchanting garden bowers of Vrindavana,
seated on a golden throne and carried by Her loving servants, the
Supreme Personality of Godhead walks in front of the procession
recounting with pride, Her unlimited glories to all.

'lakhi 'kRpAlu' balijAta kahata hari, 'jayati! jayati! maharANI!'

In the concluding verse, the Saint-Poet sings:-

Overwhelmed with Love, just by looking at His Soul, Sri Radha,
Lord Krishna surrenders Himself totally to Her incomprehensible
charms and Her inconcievable, fathomless Divine Love
and loudly proclaims in spiritual ecstasy,

"All glories to My great Queen, all glories to My Radha Rani!"

Jayati! Jayati! Maharani, Radhey!!!!

Meaning- In the SEPARATION of Sri Radha, Sri Krishna becomes

Lotus-eyed Krishna longing for Love,
wildflower-garlanded Krishna

Ecstasies and due to the transcendental bhava vikara TAKING OVER Him,
He can ONLY UTTER the first syllable of the word Radhe, that is "raa".
Then He FALLS to the ground in an Ecstatic TRANCE!
Thus, He is UNABLE to complete the FULL Name of Radha, by missing the
latter syllable, "dhe".

The SAME reason is attributed to Sri Sukadeva for NOT mentioning

FINISHED in SEVEN days for the Salvation of Parkshit Maharaj.

Sri Suka would GO into TRANCE for atleast SIX MONTHS just by UTTERING

Meaning - In the last verse, the Rasik-Saint-Poet is PRAYING to Sri
Radha for Her Grace and to accept him as Her OWN MAID SERVANT and
KINDLY COUNT him as ONE among Her OWN Sakhis, since She ALONE is the
UNFATHOMABLE Ocean of DIVINE Love and GRACE.

You have APPEARED as the darling Daughter of King Sri Vrishabhanu and
enjoyed the CONSTANT COMPANY of the Son of Nanda Maharaja, Lord
Krishna, indulging in amorous pastimes in the flowery bowers of that
sacred land.

Your face is charming like a fully bloomed lotus flower
and always COMPASSIONATE.
When will You make me WORTHY of receiving Your Grace,
by simply STEALING a LOOK at me with Your MERCIFUL GLANCE?"

"mAdanAkhya mahAbhAva of Sri VrishabhAnu nandini RAdhArAni"
is glorified in these verses of Vraja Rasik Saints.

kSaNaM sItkurvantI kSaNamatha mahovepathumatIM
kSaNaM zyAma zyAmetyamumabhilapantI pulakitA
mahApremA kApi pramadamadanoddAmarasadA
sadAnandA mUrtir jayati vRSabhAnoH kulamaNiH

All glory to the Personified Supreme eternal bliss,
the precious Jewel of the Vrishabhanu's Dynasty, Sri Radha,
Who at one minute restlessly laments with pitiable cries,
and at the next minute trembles violently beyond control,
and at another minute with extreme madness of love in separation,
loudly sings calling out the Names of Her Divine Beloved,
'O Shyama! My Shyama Darling!' and at the following minute
She drowns Herself in the sweetest ecstasy of union, as a result
of which countless goose-bumps appear all over Her Divine body!

-'Sri Radha Sudha Nidhi'. 203

Another smilar beautiful verse is found in 'Caitanya Candramrita'
describing the pastimes of 'Sri Radhavatar' Gauranga Mahaprabhu:

kSaNaM hasati roditi kSaNamatha kSaNaM murcchati
kSaNaM luThati dhAvati kSaNamatha kSaNaM nRtyati/
kSaNaM zvasati muncati kSaNamudAra hA hA rutiM
mahApraNayasIdhUnA viharatIha gauro harih//

Now She laughs, now She weeps and now She falls into a swoon,
now She rowls on the ground and now begins to run and now to dance.
Now She lets out long and plaintive sighs and cries "ah me alas alas!"

In this manner Sri Radha (Gaura)- in the form of Lord Hari, revealing
the ocean of sublime ecstasies of Divine Love, blissfully sports here.
