Thiruvaaymozhi 8.10- Servant of His servants - The Greatest of Greatest Bliss!

Dearest Sisters and Brothers,

Last ten, AzhwAr burst out with "ananhaarya sEshathvam" (considering
himself as an eternal servant to only Emperumaan Sriya: Pathih Sriman
Narayanan and NONE ELSE). And Now in this ten "nedumaaRkadimai", AzhwAr
pours out his ever-ready servitude to His BhagawathAs and His servants
at all times under all circumstances (which is BhAgawatha sEshathvam).

1. I just thought of considering myself as Emperumaan (Thirumaal)'s
servant and the moment I thought of that, immediately, with no
ambiguities, all my good and bad deeds (puNyam and paapams) all vanished
and I have no burdens now. Is this a blessing to ME! Even this lowly,
incorrigible sinner? When I keep thinking of that, is there anything
else that I need to do except being and working as a servant to His
Servants? Hence, I consider only being as His servants' servant alone as
the ONLY Grandest one I need to be of. Even if I am blessed to obtain
all three worlds under my control, still I WOULD ONLY LONG TO BE THE
SERVANT OF HIS SERVANTS MORE THAN ALL THOSE THREE WORLDS. I will never
leave that BhAgyam. And AM I TO EXPLAIN THAT TO YOU? ( Is it necessary?)

2. What a BhAgyam I have- The one who has committed only sins and
nothing but that! I am blessed to be the servant of His Servants. When I
have that- HOW does it matter- if I have the wealth of all three worlds!
Or have the AthmAnubhavam (or Kaivalya anubhavam)! These two I do NOT
need. All enjoyment that I am in need of- is being the servant of
Emperumaan's servants. The pleasure and blissful experience of serving
the BhAgawathAs/servants who serve at the Lotus Feet of Emperumaan- the
Blue hued - black cloud coloured Lord Sriman Narayanan- alone is the
Most worthiest pleasure of this birth. There is NOTHING EQUAL TO THAT.

3. Emperumaan appeared as short Vaamanan and took the Big Trivikrama
avataar to fill the entire Universe. It is a great BhAgyam to reach His
Lotus Feet. But Grander than that bhAgyam is that of serving and being
enslaved by His servants. Those servants (who are small human forms; but
are tall in their jnAnams) are here in this world- Should I involve
myself in Emperumaan Vishyam? No. I would only serve these bhakthAs who
are here in this world! Will that be fitting for this mahA Paavi (the
Greatest sinner)?

4. It is NOT wrong and criminal to wander in this world without desiring
for Paramapadham. Because, here we have Emperumaan's devotees and
BhAgawathAs (like this Bhakti group) in this very world and it is even
better to be in such world and perform kaimkaryam to them. Emperumaan,
the One who brought out the Earth back and saved- has the Red Coral
lipped BimbhA fruit like mouth. He has the Most beautiful red Lotus
eyes. The devotees- BhAgawathALs - who think of His such form in their
minds always and perform Thiruvaaraadhanam by offering flowers- I would
love to walk on the same track of performing such kaimkaryams. (and
perform these "little" kaimkaryam of posting Divyaprabhandhams to these
BhAgavatOttamALs. )

5. It is possible for us to be blessed by Emperumaan to perform
kaimkaraym to Him at His Lotus Feet at Paramapadham and enjoy His
lustrous form. But, composing these offerings in sweet verses (pAsurams
- poems) and performing such kaimkaryams in this birth is much better
and greater . BECAUSE, WE HAVE GOT THESE "useless" lowly human births
and WE ARE able to make use of them for such great acts of singing
pAsurams, after listening to His kalyANA guNAs) (and writing these
translations in English- even though they are of little worth!) -
ENJOYING AND SHARING THOSE ANUBHAVAMS WITH BHAAGAWATHALS IS THE GREATEST
OF GREAT HAPPINESS! There is No purushaartham EQUAL to this absolutely.
(So again! Thanks to Sri Mani for giving us an opportunity for this
Great anubhavam! Of talking about and sharing His kalyANA guNAs !

6. Emperumaan KaNNan killed the strong kuvalayaapeetam elephant
effortlessly; He is My Master- the One who has the ChakrA in His Hand;
He is the One who rides on GarudA; He is the One - the Greatest One who
killed the Big headed , fiery eyed asurAs; - Like that singing (and
writing) of His kalyANa guNAs and His such Grandest deeds are anyday
better and more enjoyable than even having the blissful Anandham and
anubhavam of Emperumaan Himself having and ruling all three worlds under
His control and under His creation. (NampiLLai says: Even being the
ruler and being a SarvEshwaran of all seven worlds is NOT EQUAL TO even
the enjoyment Tasting Thiruvaaymozhi! Wow! What a statement! Challenging
even Emperumaan!

7. Emperumaan, appeared as the Creator Himself as the Primordial Chief
and obtained the peerless, unmatched fame and greatness ( thanoppAril
appan!) and created BrahmA (by being the essence, seed and anthrayaami
in him); He, thus created all worlds thereafter; It is GREATEST to be at
those tender lovely Lotus Feet of Such Grandest Emperumaan and serve
Him; But even bigger than that pleasure is being with HIS SERVANT AND
UNITING WITH THEM. IT IS MUCH MORE PLEASURABLE TO UNITE WITH HIS
SERVANTS/DEVOTEES THAN WITH EMPERUMAAN HIMSELF. I need to get that
pleasure and aanandham alone.

8. Emperumaan created the coolest seas; What a Beauty He is! Look at the
way He is reclining on that Sea! Those lovely Feet are like the long,
well spread out flowers! His shoulders are as if the KaRpaka tree by
itself has grown! (so merciful!) His Crown shines like millions of suns!
He reclines like a mountain of Emerald on the Sea! WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE
BLESSED TO UNITE WITH HIS DEVOTEES!

9. Emperumaan is the One who saves the devotees and removes their sins
and karmic diseases! He is capable of taking any form to remove our
enemies (and also His!). He is Youthful "kumaran" who has the five
weapons (Pancha Ayudhams) in His Hands. He is Father of the Cupid
(manmathan). All that I pray for is to be the servant of servants of
servants (who served Him!- AzhwAr here uses "thamiyERkku"- past tense!
Those who served Him! Because there is no sathrugnAzhwAn in the present;
It is past!- as per NampiLLai's eedu vyAkhyaanam).

10. My Master has the lovely body and Divya mangaLa ThirumEni (like the
"kaayaampoo"?). He has four shoulders and has ChakrAyudham in His hand.
For this Bhagawaan alone at all times, Sri VaishNava devotees are
blessed to serve Him and they have that BhAgyam. WHOMSOEVER ARE THEIR
SERVANTS' SERVANTS' SERVANTS - THEY ARE ALL OUR MASTERS AND CHIEFS. That
BhAgawatha Bhakti is the Best aim and principle for us. (NammAzhwAr
says!). That alone is all that I need to be blessed with.

11. All three worlds are filled with the principle of considering
BhAgawatha Seshathvam alone as the beat servitude and Paramaanandham.
The Red Lotus eyed Lord, kaNNan is filled entirely in all these three
worlds! About this KaNNan, Sri SadagOpar of Thirukkurugoor has sung 1000
pAsurams. Out of these 1000, readers of these ten, ALONG WITH THEIR
SPOUSES, CHILDREN, WILL BE CERTAINLY BLESSED TO BE SERVANTS OF HIS
BHAAGAWATHAAS, while continuing in their Grahsthasramam.

HAVANA (AP) — Photographs of Fidel Castro standing and talking on the phone were published Sunday in Cuba's state-run media, a day after the ailing leader appeared in a video to dispel rumors he was on his deathbed.

The Communist Youth newspaper Juventud Rebelde dedicated its front page to the Cuban president, printing a blown-up picture of a pensive Castro with the title "Always fighting for something, and fighting with optimism!"
