Dear ukvegans

>From the instant our natal chord is cut, we live on air and mothers

milk for at least few months. Despite so much progress in science, we
are unable to produce in laboratory, a single drop of blood, milk or
even urine.

Milk is a balanced diet, easy to digest by even an infant, nutritive
and nourishing. Does not contain any harmeful pesticide residues, as
mother filters it for ofspring, whichever milk you take.

The reason for milk being advertised as "unhealthy" diet is:

The certain species of cow are engineered to make them "milk producing
machines". They are given "Oxytocin(love harmone)" to obtain more milk
secretion. This causes harmone imbalance and the milk produced
is "Carcinogenic" in long run according to research carried out in
Germany. We have to pay a heavy price whenever we play with endocrine glands.

Cow milk contains medicinal qualities of the plants eaten by her.
However, she is herbivorous animal, completely vegetarian. To fatten
her for flesh, she was fed non-vegetarian food in U.K. and U. S. and the
result was "Mad cow disease".

In India, presently, experimentation is in progress to find if Indian cow eats
medicinal herbs (e. g. those which control Diabetes mellitus), her urine
produced becomes medicine for same disease in humans. Already a number of
ayurvedic medicines are produced from Cow urine under a global patent, and they
are known as Panchgavya medicines. Even for Cancer. See govigyan.com

If you can get Indian cow milk, it is best food next to mothers milk.
There are 76 species in Indian cow. Goat milk is even
better since goat is not averse to certain medicinal plants
benificial to humans. She eats them and produces medicinal milk.

Cow milk alone has certain highly benific qualities: it contains
indestructible Beta Carotene, which does not diminish much even if
milk is boiled to produce higher products, unlike milk of anyother
animal. THis milk is highly "Satvic", as Cow ranks first in all
living beings when love to offsprings is considered.

Indian Cow milk as well as urine contains Aurium Hydroxide, a gold
compound, giving immunity of highest order. To produce this, she must
graze in sunlight. She has a special nerve in spine, which is
called "Suvarna Nadi", gets activated by sunlight. Hence, this is
possible in only tropical countries where sunlight is available
almost 8 monts a year. Perhaps for this reason, she is treated as
holy cow and given the status of "alternate mother". No other animal
likes to graze in hot sun.

Cow is an exceptional animal in one more respect. A large number of
ayurvedic medicines use cow ghee as an important ingredient.

Regards
Dr. Bhate

I like what you say Todd,
But one has to be careful, when we say Asians---you mean the Far-East Asians.
Otherwise, it is a huge and diverse group, that includes every one from Eastern
" Europe" to the Far-East and includes the South-East Asians too.
By far, in Indian literature, there is lot of respect given to Panchgavya and
the milk.
I do not know what those cows ate in the days of old,
the fact remains that many Indians drank milk then and do it now too.

Your data as far as milk sugars and milk proteins is valid, especially the
proteins in people with immune compromise. As far as the milk sugars, we tend to
" fatten" our cows with all sorts of artificial hormones in the West.
Perhaps Buffalo milk is better, or goat milk is even better, if you raise them
naturally---a rarity in our Urban or sub-urban life.

Very interesting!! I am an A-negative blood type, as were both my parents!!
None of us could tolerate dairy. I still can't. So I drink Soy milk, noticed
quite a difference. Then I read in Eat 4 your type, that dairy is a no-no!!
Plus it was said I am a double A! There were other things that fit me to a tee,
but I won't go into it!! I printed out your last message to me, and will bring
it to my Acupuncturists attention tomorrow. She is also a TCM person!! I also
purchased some Tranquil mind, which take with Ashwaganda, and some Shilajit,
along with some nose drops, called Nasya oil. My lump in my throat is gone!!!
It does come back, after awhile, but even a few hours of relief is better than
none at all!!
Bon

well, they probably ate grass!
now of course cows are fed silage as well as grain, which changes the
chemical composition of the milk

one important fact is that toxins accumulate in milk in much greater
concentrations than any other tissue
in fact, the only way for a female to liberate certain toxins from her
body is to excrete them IN the milk

true, my comments were an over-generalization, written in some haste
irregardless, ii still see good evidence that milk can cause negative
effects in Indians as well
although whether this relates to the milk itself or the quality I can't
be sure

when i was in India it was possible to get fresh milk, but most now is
sold in plastic bags (which leach xenoestrogens in the milk), and in
pasteurized

i agree that goat milk is often better tolerated, and is many parts of
the world is the milk of choice for weaning
once again, fresh (from the teat) is always best
