Default co-contract?

Hello All,

Could you please tell me what does precisely muscles co-contraction mean? It is written in a couple of articles that it increases the join stabilty, but I really cannot figure out what to do to cocontract my muscles?

In health and peace,
Selver

Cool why...

... all the inversion poses (like dwnward facing dog, plough and so on) should not be done when you are menstruating or you suffer high blood pressure?

Thanks all you answer!
Namaste
