Ashtanga in London
I am going to be in London next week for work - can anyone recommend a studio for Lead? Preferably in Kensington as that is where I will be staying. Namaste, Ruthanne |

the life centre on edge street just off kensington church street- or Triyoga Soho- both have comprehensive websites you can google.. Triyoga in Primrose Hill has classes as well, but its the otherside of London to kensington.. good luck and have fun- |

Hi Ruthanne, May I suggest Michaela Clarke - http://www.thelifecentre.org/classes...timetable.htm; she has co-written a book called ashtanga yoga for women that I go by religiously! btw, enjoy london! take care and all the best - apologies if someone has already recommended this. |

I would also strongly recommend Michaela Clarke as a teacher. She teaches at Triyoga Soho as well. I have been practicing ashtanga for 6 years, I have been in many studios throughout Europe because my work requires me to travel quite a bit, and she is one of the best teachers I have met in my journeys. She gives excellent adjustments and sound advice. She values and respects the ashtanga tradition, but she is not inflexible in her thought. I consider myself lucky to be living in London this year because I can go practice with her. |
