Hi all, Thanks for your helpful suggestions
about going through my practice with a sore
foot. Amazingly, it's been almost entirely pain-free for the last
24 hours, and the swelling seems to be pretty much
gone. I was able before I went to sleep last night to
start working on virasana again (one of the ways I
practice it, outside of my regular practice, is on my bed-
that way the tops of my feet don't get so sore, and
the muscles can do the work. I'm working up to being
able to hold the pose, with a cushion, for the time it
takes me to read a chapter in whatever book I've got
going, or without a cushion- but I can't really get my
butt all the way down- for 5 good breaths. As you can
probably tell, this pose is a bugaboo for me.) I'm
probably not going to have time today to do a practice,
but I can definitely get back into it tomorrow with a
good heart (and happy feet!). Thanks
