My experience in asking God/Amma for help with at
least one birth mother issue that I couldn't shake,
even 13 years after her death, has been amazing.
First, in Amma's presence it became uncomfortably
apparent that it was still there. Then, I asked for
help. Then, right before my DB darshan, it sure
appeared to me that Amma was re-enacting a behavior I
strongly associated with my dysfunctional mother. Each
time Amma is here, the issue again becomes loudly
apparent to me. Last time, I got the sense that even
what was bothering me so strongly, is God. So, asking
Amma for help can be very productive, as you know.
She is helping me to transcend what I couldn't on my
own, after many years of self effort & prayers. We're
so fortunate that no matter how dysfunctional our
karmic mothers' behavior was, we now know our totally
functional Universal Mother!
