Re: Anyone going to Amritapuri ?
Yes! I am going from 8/13 - 9/3 (I wish I could go for longer, but I'm a
psychologist-in-
training and I can't leave my patients and academic work for more than a few
weeks now),
for the first time! In fact, I just booked the ticket today and I am absolutely
ecstatic! =)
I've been with Amma for six years and whenever people have talked about the
ashram, I've
thought, "Oh, it'd be nice to go someday," but I never felt strongly about it.
Suddenly, a
month or two ago, I was hit with an intense longing to be there with Her, the
likes of which
I'd never felt before. I hoped it would go away, because we just couldn't afford
the trip, but
it didn't...and shortly therafter, my husband received a check in the mail for
an unexpected
sum of money and offered to use that to gift me a plane ticket for my birthday!
=)
I'm really excited....though I've also had some moments of abject terror! ;-)
How wonderful that you get to spend two whole months there! =)
Blessings,
Iswari

Re: Anyone going to Amritapuri ?
Hi Group,
I am surprised only one person from this group is headed to
Amritapuri this year ? Is anyone else going ?

I'd like to but I have a lot of responsibilities. One day when my kids are out
of the house I will.
