Yes, Umesh, she has said something, and she hasn't said anything
specific - that's why they didn't quote more than that. It's been the
subject of more than a few discussions since the word came out
that she made such a statement.
If I recall, she just said something to the effect that we should
focus on meditation and our spiritual practice to help prevent it,
and not worry. I'm sure someone here knows more specifically
what she said.
I did find it interesting that WIE grabbed it right away... making
it into sensationalism, to me.

OM!

I just picked up the February-April 2004 WHAT IS ENLIGHTENMENT?
magazine. On page 15 it says: "Ammachi....is said to have recently
given 2005 as the year for a predicted global cataclysm, either
natural or man-made."

I wonder why they wouldn't or couldn't quote her exact words.

Anyone know anything about this? From my Medjugorje studies and
experiences I know we are supposed to focus on the here and now and
not be constantly thinking of the future. But authentic warnings are
said for a reason. I want to verify if Amma did say any such thing.
