What Path should I follow
One day a visitor to Ramanashram came and gave a
notebook to Bhagavan Ramana containing some of his spiritual
experiences. Sri Ramana looked through the notebook here and there and
then returned the notebook to the visitor.
The visitor asked,. "Kindly advise which would be the best path for me
to follow."
Sri Ramana said, "Why do you ask this? You say you have found the
correct path. If you had not, then you could have sought guidance. Now
it appears that you are convinced about the wisdom of your method. Why
then the hesitation? Proceed in the same path with more faith and
concentration, and you will succeed.". From Unforgettable Years
(Translated and edited by A.R. Natarajan).
I recall that Sri Krishna also says in the Gita that in whatever
(chosen deity) someone has faith, the Lord makes it stronger. The same
holds for whatever faith one has in one's religion or path (Buddhism,
Hinduism, Christianity, etc.).
