Hello,

Can anyone suggest me good books for study of Upnishads? The book should give
the original text (in Devnagari) and the meaning of it (not just transaltion).

Regards

Madhav

Namaste Madhavji,
try reading the Ramakrishna Math's (Chennai) publication of upanishads..
u can get -
1) the original verses written in devanagari script
2) constructed text(anvaya) with literal word by word
translation
3) english rendering of each stanza
4) copious notes (in some)
5) introduction (in some)
there r many books by the Ramakrishna Math. i hav the one by Swami
Sarvananda. its fine one......
MAY U BE ENLIGHTED.
JAI SRI RAM

yours,

Dear Madhav,

I bought the books in Nasik. They should be available in all leading Marathi
bookstores in Mumbai/ Thane. Try Majestic Book Stall in Girgaum.

With best wishes,
Yours
