At the outset, thought it may be hard to believe later, i am
somewhat glad i am an American citizen. But i do not hold my
allegiance to the government which bears rule over this piece of
earthly real estate, i do not pledge allegiance to the flag. i am
glad to see it as an old familiar freind however when i have been to
mexico for a few days. This having been said, regardless of its
source, i am glad cindy put the 'alledged' Shakespear' quote up.
Many years ago, a dark pall fell over the American nation. Now this
so called land of the free, is in chains it cannot possibly throw
off without alot of blood shed. As the 'patriotic fervor' drums and
fife blare in our ears, those at the helm knowingly worsen the
problem. Where we are now, is no accident, and where we will end up
is no accident either.
We watch with horror, at least i do, WW2 footage of deathcamps, and
are told to parrot the words, 'Thank G-d it will never happen here!'
All the while, the preparations are being made for just that. Home
of the brave and land of the free, are only so much illusions.
There is a reason, that the U S, "the Leader of the Free World"
"Cannot build prisons fast enough", in Texas, it is the #1 growth
industry. And of course, it is for our own good. These complexes
will be used in time, for political dissidents, as well as any who
do not, "love America". Manuel Noriega, is a leading example of
just what lengths they will go to to shut up those anywhere in the
world who will not shut up and play 'nice'. 6 million people a year
are arrested for 'crimes' which have no victim, loss of property or
complainant. Property is siezed without warrant and sold to any
bidder, which has not been in any way used in the commision of any
crime. families are left, jobless, homeless, and marked for life,
for nothing.
King George 2 is loosing credibility at home, so, lets bomb a
country we have already "bombed into the stone age" because, we say
he has weapons of massed destruction. What is mass destruction? i
have been in the military, and have seen some of our 'lightwieght'
weapons at work, the ones we lob at people like peanuts. Just one
of these can take out several buildings and hundreds of people at a
shot... yet we're the good guys? Hypocrasy has put on the masked of
Patriotism, and we cover our bloodsoaked selves with the flag and
tell the world, 'if your not with us your agin us, so here is whats
coming your way'. With great applause and adulation the UN heard the
words basically, "its our way , or your in the way" from our good
king.
i am not so sure the rest of the world, is as naturally violent as
we are, and worry something fierce what will happen when the bubble
of illusion bursts, they wake up and say, 'we won't take it any
more'. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction,
it is a universal constant and reality, thus the reaction becomes an
action and the cycle beigns anew. However, because were 'americans'
we have sidestep this, because might makes right.
i used to look at the people who are leaving the U S as loathesome
expatriots, now, i am looking into at least Dual Citizenship under
the exiled gov. of Tibet, because that is the only 'gov'. remotely
reflecting how i feel a gov. should conduct itself.
i know, this is anything but an uplifting statement, sorry for that.
But at least here, i can vent abit, and then get refreshed and
uplifted. Blessings, Peace Profound, and Namaste' to all. james
