Viewing the Self

Hi everyone:
I have been watching events unfold. The people involved with the
tragedy in New York have been showing such caring and devotion to
life that I am overcome and mesmerized It is the fact of this
mesmerizing attraction that caused me to write.
When I well up with emotion I am adoring these people. They have
surrendered to the moment so fully they want nothing but to help. I
thank God I am attracted to them and not their opposites. If this is
what is meant by seeking the light then it must also be seeing all as
the Self. Seeing the true nature of oneself by being attracted to it
in "others".
If I had to love God more than I love these people I would be hard
pressed. Thank goodness that it is the same thing.
