Dear Gloria,

There's a strange paradox in this. President Bush is also pushing
for greater use of nuclear power, which (as far as the Earth's
atmosphere goes, anyway) happens to be a far "cleaner" method of
power generation, producing much less carbon dioxide.

Yet nuclear power is not without its problems (waste disposal being
one of the 'biggies').

Just thought i would point that out... in a sense (at least as far
as "the greenhouse effect"), the push for more use of nuclear power
balances out Pres. Bush's refusal to address environmental issues,
although it isn't without its own issues.
