Into The Pond

I have a painting

of a beautiful

wooded scene

with a pond

on my wall.

>From time to time

my childlike nature

asserts it's self

and I take

a small pebble

and throw it

into the pond.

But the pebble

always bounces off

and rolls across

the floor.

I just can't seem

to get it right.

You know,

I think it's in

the wrist.
