Serious business is afoot!
This day,

await the loving touch
of your brush
like an empty canvas.
Paint it well!
that it may hang
in the hall of memory
in all it's beauty,
for a very long time.

Thank you, Mace, for the reminder. It seems a paradox to me that life is
indeed serious business, but it should not be taken too seriously. Instead,
I have too often taken things much too seriously, while paying little mind
to the deep relevance of the whole process of my life (and my awakening).
Thanks for getting me thinking about this stuff -- it's just what I needed
today (but now that I've got the hamster in my head running on his wheel,
how do I stop him? ;-)
