I have analyzed chart of an individual whose marriage has been delayed for some
reasons. I request you to kindly have a look at the same and give comments that
may help me and the native.

Native’s Details:
Gender: Male.
Date: November 27, 1972
Time:17:35:00
Place: Lagos, Nigeria
Time Zone:1:00:00 (East of GMT)
Longitude: 3 E 23' 00"
Latitude: 6 N 27' 00"

Objective of Analysis: the native has been actively looking for a suitable life
partner for over a year. His efforts have not been successful. Objective is to
check prospects, timing, and success of marriage.

D1 Lagna Check: Lagna changes within seconds and It is essential to verify the
same. The native is tall by Indian standards, well built, broad shoulders and
wheatish (darker) in colour. His built appears to match more with Aries lagna
than Taurus. He is also very charming as would be indicated by Venus in own
house in 7th.

Exalted/ debilitated, planets in own house, MKS: Jupiter and Venus are in their
own MTK (mool trikona) house. Rahu and Ketu are in debilitated in D1. Mars and
Rahu are in MKS (marna karka sthana)

In D9, Mercury is exalted but retrograde, Moon is in its own houses and Sun is
debilitated.Rahu and Ketu are debilitated in D9 too. Moon is in MKS.

Functional characteristics: For Aries Lagna Jupiter, Sun and Mars are benefic.
Mercury, Saturn and Venus are malefic. Venus is also a strong Marka. Native was
born on Krishna ashtami and hence Moon will be natural malefic. As 4H it may
loose some of its malefic effects. It is also placed in trine.

Yogas: Malavya Yoga formed by Venus in own sign in Kendra and Bahu-stri yoga
formed by LL and 7L conjoining together. Bahu-stri yoga gives multiple wives
and strange sexual appetite.

2H (Kutumba Sthana/ Dhana sthana): Saturn is placed in it with aspects of Sun,
Mars and Mercury. Though Saturn does not damage the house in which it is
placed, it would not enhance the family happiness. Aspects of Sun and Mars can
bring up a lot of arguments at home. Aspect of Mars as 8L may not be good too.
Fortunately it is LL too!

2L is placed in 7H. this shows a strong link between wealth and partnership or
spouse. such a placement may show more than one wife!

7H (Yuvati/ Kama Bhava): 7H is occupied by Venus and Mars. Venus in 7th is
usually not considered good for 7H significations. It also leads to excessive
passion and sexual desires, which prompt the native for satisfaction elsewhere.
In this case however Venus is in its own MTK sign as 7L it should give native a
beautiful wife. I expect the passions to stay especially due to conjuctions
with Mars. I am not sure if 7L in own house will help the native to stay within
the relationship.

Mars could also bring in a spouse who is short tempered. Mars is 8L and in MKS
(marna karka sthana). It will therefore contribute to affliction of the house.
It may also bring sorrow in married life and that spouse may be short-lived. 7H
has no graham drishties but has rashi drishti from Saturn and Moon.

12H (House for Bed and sexual pleasures): it does not have any planets, nor does
it have any graham drishti. Rashi drishti is from debilitated Ketu. This drishti
is not favourable for the signification being examined. House also contains both
Gulika and Mandi. Gulika and Mandi are sons of Saturn and are usually associated
with poison. I am not sure if I can draw any inference here.

UL: it is placed in 3H with debilitated Ketu. It is 6th from AL, not a very good
placement for compatibility. Ketu with UL usually gives a spiritual spouse,
short tempered, nagging till the birth of first child. Aspect of Jupiter and
debilitated Rahu, first one being a blessing and second an affliction. ULL,
Mercury is placed in 8H with Sun. this may indicate a short-lived spouse!

2nd house from UL is aspected by Saturn, devoid of any benefic aspect! Sickness
could be the cause of spouse being short lived!!

7th from UL has Jupiter and debilitated Rahu. These could again give indications
of the kind of illness the spouse may have. Jupiter is expansive and Rahu adds
to the same!

A7, AL relationship: A7 is placed 7th from AL and hence the native will have
easy contact with the opposite sex. Graham drishti of Saturn may indicate
mature women and physical contact with only one. Rashi drishrti of Sun, Mercury
and Saturn could show the type of person as intelligent, working women from good
family. This also makes a srimath yoga, wealthy and helps to bring about marital
harmony.

Lord of A7 is aspected by Jupiter and Rahu. Affliction of lord usually leads to separation.

7H in D9: 7L mercury is exalted but retrograde! It is placed in 10H. This may
again indicates a beautiful wife and a rise in career after the marriage.
Mercury however may be deemed as debilitated and it does not match too well
with native’s lagna lord Mars. Gemini Rashi indicates more than one marriage.

Place from which the spouse may come: lord of 7th from Venus is Mars, which is
placed in Libra, a movable sign and hence the spouse could be from a distant
land- abroad. Rahu’s aspect on UL may give the same indication!

Dasa: Venus which is kalatrakarka and also 7H will play an important role. Mars,
which is placed in 7H, and Ketu, which is in trine may also play a role. Saturn
is 7L from Moon Lagna. Mercury is the 7L in D9 and Ketu and Sun are in trine.
Venus’s nakshtra dispositor is Rahu and Mercury’s dispositor’s is Saturn.

Transit check: We need to check transit movements if Bhava lord Venus (D1) and
Mercury (D9), karka which again is Venus and Mars which is in 7H when aspecting
or being in trine to 7H may help in timing the event.

Jupiter is currently transiting through 5H and will move to Libra in around Sept
2005. while transiting through 7H of D1 it will also aspect Gemini which is 7H
in D9. Saturn will not be aspecting 7H.

Combination of Transit and Dasa: Mercury, Ketu or Venus AD (Sept 2005- March
2006) are the likely periods. Gemini Pratyantar D9 Narayan Dasa runs during Nov
2005 and hence that may be the likely time for the native’s marriage.

Unfortunately Jupiter is not aspecting 2nd from UL during the periods indicated.

Remedies: In light of risks that are indicated in the chart, it may be good for
the native to fast on the days of UL lord, Monday in this case.

Few other facts about the native: his father passed away a few years back. He
died of cancer, which had infected his kidneys initially and then spread to
other parts of the body.

Native is a chartered accountant. Like many others he had to appear a for CA
exams a number times, but finally cleared the same.
