II OM NAMOBHAGAWATE VASUDEVAYA II Dear Sandeep, The way I have understood is
that karma yoga without expectations purifies our mind. Pure mind attracts
knowledge (Sankya Yoga). Knowledge will start to increase devotion (Bhakti
yoga). Therefore these three yogas are like three points on a circle. Different
people may start at different point. But ultimately when one has experienced all
three yogas the person progesses spiritually in to Sadhana and ultimately
achieves Moksha. So they are all connected. With Best Regards, Sadashiv.

there are several at least superficially different ways to approach God. Of
them, Karma Yoga seems to me to be the doing of compassionate action without
any regard for returns, Bhakti Yoga seems to be the expression of devotion to
God, and Sankhya Yoga seems almost to be the discovery of God through
analytical understanding (observation?)of the universe.I have several
questions:1) First, do you Gurus agree with the above assessment? I know that
at the deeper level the Gita also says that all paths are essentially the same,
so perhaps I am wrong in even recognizing these as somewhat different.2) Second,
if they are in some way different (as they appear to be), I remember that in
this group I have heard that if your AK is the same as your Istha Devata you
are a Karma Yogi. Are there similar simple patterns in a chart to recognize
Bhakti Yoga and even more interestingly, Sankhya Yoga in a chart? If so, what
are they?3) In my simple understanding of the above Yogas, it seems to me that
someone like Srila Prabhupada would be a Bhakti Yogi, someone like Mother
Teresa would be a Karma Yogi, and perhaps someone like Jiddu Krishnamurti or
the Buddha would be a Sankhya Yogi. Is this correct? The chart details of all
can be found in the birthdata bank in this newsgroup. It would be nice if
someone could show the above mentioned patterns (if they exist) in some of the
above charts.Thank you very much in advance,SundeepArchives:
