A preliminary response.For the six charts, Gandhi, Mandela, King,
Hitler, Rajneesh and Presley and working on the hints suggested by
you ,Saturn seems to be the common factor in the 2nd and tenth
houses. Located in tenth in 2 charts, located in second in one and
aspecting Tenth in three other charts. Interestingly, Ju aspects the
11th in four charts.

Gandhi: Sa in 2nd house, second Lord in Lagna; !0th lord in
tenth...Moon
AL the arudha lagna also in Karma Bhava

Mandela: Saturn, second lord in 8th, aspecting both Second and
tenth. Second alsp aspected by Su and Me.
Ma in tenth....AL, the maya also in karma bhava.

King: Ju, tenth Lord in second, aspecting 6th, 8th and 10th; Sa in
tenth.
AL in third along with the third karaka, Mars which is retro.

Hitler: Second Lord Mars in seventh aspecting second; Saturn in
tenth along with AL.

Rajneesh: Second lord Me in 8th aspecting second; almost everyone
aspecting second since 8th predominates.
Tenth Lord Sa in 8th, aspecting tenth. AL in third along with a
retro but exalted Jupiter.
An almost stationary Jupiter.

Presley: Second Lord Ju in 12th (11th from 2nd), Mars aspecting
second in which Su and me sit together.
The tenth Lord in second.
Sa aspects tenth from its location in fourth in its own house.

However, the almost magnetic following which these stalwarts got
doesn't seem to be explained by these factors. There should be much
more which I am missing in this so far pedesterian effort done by me
to try and understand this interesting query.
Jupiter has so far not shone for me as far as unravelling this
query goes and I am sure you have things up your sleeve.
