My ayurvedic teacher said something very interesting
about milk and some banned herbs. He mentioned how
some herbs are banned now because of mis-education by
the public and not realizing that some shouldn't be
used for a prolonged period. Similar with milk - milk
today is not what it was simply because of hormones
that alter it's natural composition. So I think that
organic milk isn't harmful, and is actually used to
take in herbs in ayurveda along with ghee. I don't
think that our ancestors would have continued drinking
milk if it was so bad, I just think that the tampering
of today's industries have changed it's purity, thus
blaming milk itself. I would look into it more though,
this is just my understanding of it.
