I read the recent posting by shri venky of paramAcAryA's exhortation
with tears in my eyes. ParamAcAryA is very much right in finding the
fault why the dharma is getting abandoned nowadays. He pinpointed the
fault very precisely. How correct He is when He said "... For 1000 Rs
the brahmin has left the native agrahAra for Madras; for 4000 Rs he
left Madras for Delhi; and for 4000 $ he left Delhi for America ...".

The last paragraph where He says that it is His duty as pIThAdhipati
to remind the message of dharmashastra and it is up to us to make it
possible, is a gem which everyone of us should heed and learn.
