Interestingly enough, Shri Vidyaranya Muni, who was the
Shankaracharya of Shringeri a few centuries back, quotes the
Tripurarnava tantra, in his work Shrividyarnava, to show that Bala
is identical with Nityaa nitya instead of Kulasundari.

the sentence goes like "bAlA nityAnityayoH abhedAt.h...etc.etc."

meaning "due to non-difference between Bala and NityA nitya....."
