Oh, there is so much I could say here my head is spinning, yet not. The fact is, we are 'not' trying to follow 'their' traditional Hinduism, but Prabhupada's transcendental teachings. If Prabhupada said we can have Ratha Yatra on different dates (which he did), so we do like that. To burn an effigy of him is ridiculous, won't change our minds in the least (therefore making it more ridiculous), as well as a white elephant offense. Of course it would be great if there was a way to wake them up so they won't make such an offene, but I can't think of any. And as one poster mentioned, they are jealous.
