thx Jan. i have wanted to read a little of Carolyn's work but have not had time. Heard her one time on ABC National Australia radio Spirit of Things Program by Rachel Kohn (Rachel is awesome in some ways):

I was surprised that Carolyn seemed quite tuff...I think her father was military from memory. I have not read her work yet due to a small bias in my heart, I thought she might be a bit new age (I am probably wrong). Been looking at the Entering the Castle book though, the way of the mystic is very attractive for me, being raised a catholic.

What I love Jan is to relate various reading back to my krsna conscious faith, so that I can relate naam-bhakti-yoga to a broader public in their terminolgy. The more I look at the path we have chosen Jan I am amazed how brilliant and simple Sri Caitanya is, and how his vision can be applied in many diverse ways for many people.

This concept of illness as a positive catalyst is very interesting for me. The soul is wonderful with so many qualities (like depth), and the tiny souls are a wonderful treasure of Big Soul IMHO. I am sure God relishes jiva tattva as a part of Himself, to add to His absolute nature and completeness.

Thx Jan when I get some spondoola I will re-look at Entering the Castle book.
