President Obama has taken care to please India by this small gesture, what the third world countries need from US today is a)non interference in their economic & political matters b) stop funding to countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan etc which are centres of world terrorism, illegal arms & drug supplies c)stop playing a double role, supporting a facist country like China which is gradually becoming a world power.
It is good to see Obama participating in Diwali celebrations and even delivering a message. Hindus are known for their tolerance and peaceful co-existence. They are able to mingle with the people wherever they go. No country is afraid of Hindus and this is the main reason behind the prosperity of Hindu community abroad.
At the same time what Mahesh said is also right. Arming Pakistan with F-16s in the name of fighting terror(I wonder how do they use F-16s against terrorists who are like rats in a jungle). They are not able to raise their voice against the atrocities committed by the rogue nation China. If US doesn't change its ways one day it will be at the receiving end and the same forces it is nurturing will turn against it and its own F-16s may be used against it.
Probably, one of the first American Presidents History, Obama has openely appreciated Hinduism / Asian religions and united everyone into the global thinking process with positive message.. Very nice. We wish to hear from many other eminient leaders to come up united and spread the global peace on planet earth...

President of USA mentions about RAMA but it is shameful that Govt of India does not accept RAMA and the importance of RAMA . It even filed an affidavit in Supreme Court even.Does it mean that to understand RAMA and to understand its fesivals we should depend on other country.
